"Mindful Explorers was our first exposure to sending our two year old daughter outside the home for childcare. We specifically sought out a Montessori setting for its emphasis on individual learning, purposefully prepared classroom environment, and teachers specialized in the Montessori method. When we first toured the school and met Amy, we felt instantly at ease. The children’s area was clean, thoughtfully created, and offered a variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. We loved the small class size and level of attention to each individual child. Over the past year, we have watched our daughter grow into a more curious, thoughtful, and creative individual who understands the importance of treating others with respect and is able problem solve much more independently. She learned at school that she is capable of “doing hard work” and has the confidence to attempt complex activities and the courage to approach new social situations with ease. We attribute much of her positive growth and development over the past year to her time spent with Amy, MJ, and the other children at Mindful Explorers. We know that her first educational experience was a positive one and always felt safe and secure when she was at school. Mindful Explorers is a true gem, a rare find compared to other available options for toddler education and childcare in the Denver area. "MEM was the first preschool where I entrusted my son, so needless to say it was a huge decision. Upon meeting Amy, he and I both felt at ease immediately. Amy is both laid back and professional, and puts lots of thought into her time with the students. My son continues to come home talking about school - the friends he’s made, singing songs, and using new phrases he learns. Amy has been extremely supportive of my parenting style which I appreciate so much.
I highly recommend MEM to any parent/caregiver who hopes to see their child thrive in a preschool setting. I am counting down the time until my younger son can begin.
